Cancer Care Innovation Collaboration Proposals

A cornerstone of our vibrant community is our ability to join forces with each other to solve problems facing us in the cure of cancer through our Collaboration Projects initiative, which brings organizations together to work on specifically defined projects that have meaningful impact in reducing cancer-related deaths. Seeking YOUR Initiatives: Join Forces to Transform the Future of Cancer Care

Making real impact in cancer care takes collaborative innovation. Our Financial Toxicity project demonstrates how CancerX members can work together to address critical challenges facing cancer patients. Ready to launch your own transformative initiative?

For this round, we are taking the lead from our health system and cancer center leaders in the CancerX network. Last month, we assembled these leaders in our inaugural executive roundtable where they shared their strategic priorities, implementation challenges, and most promising pathways for digital innovation in oncology.

As a CancerX member, you have exclusive early access to the complete findings – revealing eight specific priority areas where your solutions can drive meaningful change and improve patient outcomes. We are going to use these 8 areas as areas of opportunity to invite your proposals for projects.

Ready to Make an Impact?

This is your opportunity to collaborate on initiatives directly aligned with what cancer care leaders have identified as their most urgent priorities. By submitting a collaboration proposal, you can connect with complementary partners across the CancerX ecosystem to build innovations with real-world implementation potential.

This latest in our continuing series of ecosystem roundtables builds on our previous successful collaborations. Your participation positions you for deeper involvement as we continue to bring together patients, community providers, payers, and technology innovators throughout the year. View the requirements for proposal submission below.

Submission Guidelines

Your collaboration proposal should clearly articulate the following components:

  • Problem Statement: Clearly define the specific problem within one of the eight priority areas that your collaboration will address.
  • Collaboration Team: Identify participating organizations and their complementary expertise. Proposals must include at least two CancerX member organizations.
  • Project Scope: Outline specific goals, deliverables, and timeline (6-12 month projects preferred).
  • Implementation Strategy: Describe how the solution will be tested and implemented in real-world clinical settings.
  • Success Metrics: Define how you will measure project impact and success criteria.
  • Sustainability Plan: Explain how the initiative could be scaled and sustained beyond the initial project period.
  • Resource Requirements: Detail the resources needed, including any funding requests or in-kind contributions from partners.

Proposals will be evaluated based on:
